new year's eve picnic

The original plan for today was for a beach outing with some of my Samba Sisters and their dogs, and to have a sausage sizzle...but given the state of the roads (and our drive) this morning, Joanna and I decided to go for a local walk instead. We met up at Stepford Bridge and walked to Morrinton and had a picnic at the brickyard, where there is a convenient shelter ( and the useful chair I blipped a few days ago). Joanna had made onion bhajis (still warm) and I brought mince pies. Jess had fun playing in the huge puddles while we ate and chatted - see extras.
