Painting

I did some painting today. Bean was occupied with some colouring in - his choice, he wasn't interested in painting at all. Bear was catching up on beauty sleep after a particularly dreadful night last night (which has left me grumpy all day).

It was very theraputic and highly recommended.

What I'm doing these days is letting the boys paint onto fairly thick card. They pretty much just smear paint all over and that's it, they love it, and I love the results. So I'm painting on the reverse and when I have enough pieces I'm going to attempt to bind them into a kind of collaborative art journal to celebrate this year of our lives.
