Blossom

I snapped this picture earlier in the week as I felt the early blossom was an encouraging sign of Spring (although in reality it will probably be a few more months?)

We had a lazy start today.  I prepped Seville oranges for marmalade making and OH chopped logs.  We drove over to No.1 for lunch as JC was cooking a roast.  She was snoozing when we arrived as they had met up with cousin L and her new man J for a walk earlier.  They have been seeing each other for a few months but No.1 had not met him yet?  Both No.1 and JC gave him the thumbs up - nice and normal and easy to get on with.

JC cooked a lovely lunch and we sat and chatted, and nice that No.2 was with us too.  Lunch cleared away and we had an obligatory game of Train Tracks - only one point in it but JC won and No.2 came second.  I am still not sure I fully understand it but just play along!

Nice day  and traffic good on the way home, arriving in time for (un)Happy Valley - pleased that James Norton has had a hair cut at last.
