The COVID Quilt - Every block tells a story
My copy of the book which contains the stories of the blocks made by quilters around the U.K. arrived today. I made one of the blocks which I have blipped previously.
The book is well laid out and all of the 240 blocks are shown plus the text sent in by each maker. Such a range of people and memories of their time during the lockdowns. All of this can be seen by downloading an E copy from the Bernina website.

I’m not sure exactly where the actual quilts are at present as I would like to go and see it ‘ in the flesh’ . It was on display in Birmingham at a Show but I did not go there.
A dull day with some drizzle.
Off to my Book Club tonight to discuss the book we read…I did not expect to enjoy it as it was by Graham Norton! However it was an an easy read and based around a real life story in Ireland.
