Fox Tail Agave

This is a very interesting plant in the glassshouse at RHS Wisley where I went today. I have not seen this plant before and it was rather spectacular. I can see why its common name is a Fox Tail Agave. (Agave attenuata) So many little flowers coming out gradually in sequence making it look like a fluffy tail.

We were lucky with the weather there actually saw some blue sky. Also lots of snowdrops were out including the expensive/rare ones which are in a locked cabinet in the alpine house. See extra. Also the first bulbs were out and lots of hellebores.
