What is it?

This is a structure that has been built in the garden of a house near us. The building work started about a year ago and seems to have ground to a halt….the planning permission was for a narrow side extension but they seem to have gutted the whole house which seems unnecessary as they can not have a loft extension as it has a flat roof like the adjoining one!! I think this may be a fancy shed or possibly have a bar? The garden does overlook the river.

We  drove back from our son’s house this morning where we stayed for two nights. They enjoyed their Burns Night dinner and we had a DIY one. It’s in Watchfield and they are living there until they sell their house/ buy a new one, possibly in Oxford. A bit further away than they were before but under two hours. 

So nice to have a sunny day and not need to have the heating on so much!
