Blueberry bush by the pond

The container blueberry has just started showing new buds.

Colder weather's forecast for next week so it might slow them a bit but it always looks good at this time of year, whether it's covered in buds or not!

Last year was the first year I harvested blueberries - they were tiny and not plump with the hot weather but still very nice to have. I've had this plant for 5 years now, it should start giving me decent crops if I treat it right. I'll topdress with a fresh layer of pine needles at the weekend.
