Old haunts with old friends

We drove with Carole and David out to the village in Suffolk where we used to live for 20 years. Our old home, now much remodelled, is on the blip. We had a walk round my old running route, where I de-stressed after teaching. I had not seen my old workplace since I walked out the door 19 years ago. It looks no better.

We slept well last night - thanks for your good wishes. And the sausages were edible! Tonight we are eating out at an Indian with Carole’s ex Dennis and an old friend and colleague of mine.
