Reflections in Woodland Gardens

This morning we went to Bushy Park. My husband took the dog for a walk while I went into the Pheasantry Plantation part of the Woodland Gardens for a walk. It was a lovely morning with bright sunshine and lovely blue skies so good to see the reflections in the water.
The Pheasantry cafe is closed for refurbishment until after Easter but there are 3 catering huts serving a range of snacks and some hot food eg toastier and pizzas.
This are is called the Pheasantry because in the 17th century there was a small enclosure for “the Pheasant House” in this area.

No daffodils out there yet but lots will be soon I’m sure.
It was quieter than usual today, maybe because of the cafe being shut . Lots of signs warning that the Car Park and access road will be closed tomorrow as a very large oak tree is to be felled .

Lots of phone calls and admin plus a friend came round for coffee and cake.
