Jarl Breezy Beard

More gales, thankfully not quite as strong.  It rained all morning, dry in the afternoon and evening, still windy.

A lazy morning around the house.  I did manage to do a deep clean in the bedrooms.  The rain finally eased after lunch, and I got out walkies with Sammy.  We popped by Madeline's for a cuppa.  Met friend Julie for walkies with Vikings this evening.  Now feet up by the fire. 

Up Helly Aa season is well and truly underway now.  Tonight is the Nesting and Girlsta UHA, also Uyeasound UHA in Unst.  A breezy night for the procession, but still a good turnout to watch.  Another long night a head for those heading to the community halls for the parties.  Hope everyone has a great night, and hopefully fluha (flu,colds and Covid-19) don't spread too badly like the Lerwick and Scalloway UHA.  Jarl Johnny Knight taking lead in the procession, outside the South Nesting Hall.  Note the beard blowing in the wind.
