A gift

Thank you for all the lovely comments, stars and hearts for yesterday's milestone blip! Much appreciated.
This morning I lifted the lid on one of our 3 compost bins - the one that's almost ready to be emptied and used. Inside, two perfect little irises had grown and opened their blooms. I remember emptying some flowerpots there, some time ago,  that I thought had nothing left growing in them.  I am very happy to have been proved wrong :-) 
Maybe this could be a new technique..?
I transplanted them carefully and hope they'll prosper.
