Stages of a banana

Well the jedi coughed most of last night. And kept waking with a sore throat.  I slept on his floor again and called the docs first thing. They have prescribed antibiotics but because of a mix up I can't get them until tomorrow morning.  

I had a productive day in the house. The jedi and Harp were out in the garden for a while.  One being a diva and one trying a front flip like his big brothers. ( see extra). 

My collage is of the stages of trying new foods. Carson hasn't had banana since he was a baby. He doesn't like the texture or the taste. But he asked for a spiderman banana.  So I drew a spiderman face on the skin and he literally held this banana in his hand for over half an hour.  He did end up licking it which was good but the whole thing ended up in the bin. At least he tried . 

The boys had a good day at school and because it's the last week before the holidays it's a busy one. Xander has his first cross country race on Wednesday.  P4-p7 are taking part. It's a small school so this is around 14 kids from our school.  

Tonight is football which is why its a early blip. Its lovely and sunny which will make a difference but still cold. And I left my jacket at work . Darn. I've said I'll be back on Wednesday.  I need Carson to have at least a whole day of antibiotics in him before he goes back to nursery.  At least he's had food today. A buttered slice of bread and a lick of a banana.  Not much but better than the last few days. 

So its going to be a quick and easy dinner for the wildlings so we can go to football.  I've told Xander if he does his best tonight I'll order his shin pads when we get back home .
