Caldas de Reis to Padron (18.6km)

We set off early again this morning, on the next stage of our walk with our friends Mariana and Sandy. The showers soon passed and the sun came out. I was fine at first but about 2 hours into the walk (after stopping for breakfast) my knee started giving me problems. I managed to hobble into Padron and got a compression bandage from a local chemist. I suspect it’s a sprained ligament. So unfair Mr P hasn’t had a single injury. Not even a blister!
After kissing Pepe (local pilgrim tradition) we walked to our hostal. Another mixed dorm, but this time it’s a lovely old house and all the pilgrims had a communal meal together. Great way to finish up our Camino. Now all I have to do is hobble to Santiago tomorrow!
