To Jersey - again

Horribly early alarm call got me out of bed for a 6.30 flight. Our second attempt at getting to Jersey this week - this time via Gatwick (the only seats available). Fingers crossed and all went well - a snooze en route to Gatwick, second breakfast whilst waiting for our onward flight. And arrived on Jersey in glorious sunshine.
Hooray!
The afternoon was spent relaxing and a swim in the outdoor pool followed by a dip in the jacuzzi. Joined in my pals book club meet up - all agreed that we enjoyed reading Lessons in Chemistry. A quirky story with plenty of social comment.
