The Feast Day of St. Ethelbert of East Anglia. and St. Bernardino of Siena
It is 14c and a gloriously warm sunny May day. The gardens are all looking colourful and green foliage has the most beautiful accent in the sunshine.
A day of sorrow here as we remember and pray for the soul of Paul's Father who at 90, after much suffering passed away yesterday. A unique man, excellent golfer and Great Grandfather, missed by our four generation family. His brother has out lived him. Your prayers are welcome. He was a faithful Catholic and very generous to us.
As it was so warm we decided to enjoy the sunshine and strolled along to the park and then up Side Beet Lane, a nice flat well maintained path through fields with horses and trees full of Hawthorn white flowers, or May blossom. There were a few white cabbage butterflies and peacock butterflies winged by.
I was so glad my Citizen Photo ID card arrived in the morning post. It was needed so we can have both our names on the new house deeds. It is valid until 2025 and cost £30.
Have a good Saturday and thank you for visiting my site.
