Friday: Amongst The Melons

I don’t want to use the Q word but work really isn’t too bad at the moment.  I’m hoping it will last into next week.  

Not much to report really.  We bought this statue in Beijing many years ago but it broke not long after we got here.  I can’t even remember how.  We’ve lain it in the garden amongst the hopefully soon-to-be watermelons as a decorative piece.

Tonight’s fact-check of ‘The Diplomat’:
- My US colleague and I were having a text exchange about the programme today and have both agreed that we would dearly love it if our deputies brought us a range of outfits to choose from for various occasions.
