Saturday: Vegetable Shopping

It’s definitely getting hotter and hotter so we need to measure our outdoor activities carefully.  We went out this morning to run some errands, including vegetable shopping, before spending an air conditioned afternoon at home.  No swimming today - we open up the pool to staff on a Saturday and today it was in use.  We tend not to go when that’s the case as no one wants to swim with the bosses.

Out for dinner tonight.  When we drove back in to our home compound we found tonight’s night guard, Cab, all bundled up.  I asked how he was not overheating - turns out he felt really sick and had the chills.  Luckily it’s not just him on duty, there’s another guard.  But it’s still miserable, so we popped back out a bit later with a hot water bottle and a flask of K’s special golden milk (hot milk, turmeric, ginger, lots of other good stuff).  Hopefully that will help.
