Purple Martin Parents

The sound of chirping in the nesting box gave them away! I don't see these birds often so it was a treat to see a pair of them. Only saw a pair of walkers too, so lovely to have a peaceful, quiet place to walk. 
Things are really starting to grow in the garden. Such a treat to have fresh salad veggies every day. It's well worth the effort to plant a garden and reap the benefits. We're so fortunate to have the space and time to grow some of our own food.
