Chaser

A busy morning in the garden, with a lot still to do. The soil is very dry, and the weather forecast is for at least two more weeks of dry sunny weather. So watering plants to keep them going was one of my tasks.

After our lunch J had a walk around the garden. As she got to the conservatory door I asked her to stay still, whilst I retrieved and switched on my camera. A four spotted chaser dragonfly had landed on the clematis bush just behind her. A rare garden sight, so that’s my blip.

We travelled up to Holly arriving mid afternoon. It’s a journey of 70 minutes, and it is a different world up here. The extra is the rising full moon - the strawberry or honey moon for some - over the park.
