Sunlight
Every day is a sunny day at the moment, it seems to have been that way for a few weeks.
This morning took us to Leighton Moss. I am standing under the shade of willow trees - they, nearby vegetation and the ground around them are covered in a kind of white fluffy candy floss, which has exploded out of the catkins which have now all fallen. The white silky down protects the seeds and aids their dispersal. It’ all looks quite surreal. Where it catches the light, as it does in this image, it looks a bit otherworldly. The soundtrack to this image should be the song of a reed warbler. We were watching the bird singing its reeling song from the top of the reeds.
