Dublin, Ireland

We docked early this morning on the shores of the Liffey River in the heart of Dublin.  Today is a turnover day, where quite a few passengers disembarked, and a whole new crowd clambered aboard.

We decided not to go out today, as we've visited this city several times, and we're tired!  This is a very lazy collage of photographs all taken from the deck of our ship.  The top photo on the left is the Aviva Stadium, home to the Irish rugby union team and the Republic of Ireland football team.  The middle shot is of several "Dublin ambulances" standing at the ready!  The bottom is, of course the Republic of Ireland flag.  The super yacht is called Scout  an eye popping vessel owned by two men who use it to travel the world with their dogs -- one for whom the ship is named.  Apparently she cost $85,000,000 to build, and she racks up an additional $5,000,000 to $8,000,000 annually to maintain.  It must be good to be King!

Extra:  The ceremony the other evening where some of us received a certificate for having spent more than 100 nights aboard!
