Penwortham

It's a long (and boring) story but the bottom line is don't try driving up the M6 to the Lake District on a Friday during the holidays or sunny weather.

We ended up going through Penwortham, this afternoon, avoiding traffic delays. I learnt two things in the process. Firstly, how you spell the town's name. Previously, I've only ever heard the Minx say it: "Penwith'm".

And secondly, it has a very nice Booths, which is where I took this picture.
