Will and Moana
Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . to parade
It was the Kirkcudbright Jazz Festival Parade this morning, when anyone who would like to join in gets dressed up in their finest - and marches through town with a decorated brolly behind one of the jazz bands.
The brollies are usually a defence against the inevitable rain that is almost expected to accompany the parade. Today though, they were a welcome shade from the hot sun that we've had for weeks now. And Tessa, Josie and I were very pleased to join in the fun - dressing up clothes being no problem in this house!
We all got a medal to wear too, proving that we had taken part and to keep as a memento of the day ...............
