Playtime

Its been a busy day. Our oldest grandson was out with his dad and grandad to his football class. It was set outdoors for the first time which upset Lucas as he much prefers the usual routines. Hopefully he will get use to it by next week. The youngest managed a 5 hour sleep last night so that was appreciated by his parents.

It was becoming an extremely hot day. We had lunch and soon after my brother in law, his son and girlfriend arrived. They live relatively close by and were keen to see everyone. We headed out into the garden where our oldest grandson had a session of water and sand play before becoming too hot. He headed indoors with some of us and the others quickly followed as it had clouded over and thunder could be heard. The storm started to build and eventually started to lightly rain.

Their visitors left and then we had some very heavy rain. So nice to have a cool breeze. I took this shot of our grandson playing with his toys later in the afternoon.

We haven't had rain for sometime so it is certainly much needed for the gardens.
