The Boss and I drove over to see him today....took him out to lunch...lovely pub in the next village along the road from where he lives.

Mushrooms and bacon in Wensleydale cheese sauce for me and the Boss and tomato and herb soup for dad as starters. Dad had Sweet chili chicken and coriander noodles, the Boss had Steak and ale pie with mash and veg and I went for a burger, salad, chips and coleslaw....drinks too......£44.

Back to dad's.......a look at his progress with the family tree......and then the 2 hour+ drive back home.

Tonight out to the quiz with D and V..... just back from two weeks in Turkey....we haven't been to the quiz for three weeks.... a bit rusty...only came third.

Weather at Dad's was atrocious.....misty, damp and cold......here was blue skies with a bit of cloud and warm. Tomorrow and the weekend are expected to be better.....so I think the plan is....early morning fishing tomorrow....an afternoon helping the Boss in the garden......Saturday BBQ!....Sunday fishing match....and then there's something I have to do on Monday.........

Oh bollocks.....back to work!
