Starlings by the sea

Cycled by the Meadows and the Innocent tunnel to Brunstane, then to Joppa and along the promenade. Stopped for coffee at Crumbs. These starlings ignored me while I was drinking, but hopped up on to the stone wall next to the table as soon as the pain au chocolat came out of the paper bag. Back by the Restalrig path and the cycle way on Leith Walk; there's still an unfinished section at Elm Row. 

Out by tram later to the Foot of the Walk  and the Water of Leith. Saw the eight cygnet swan family; back by the Rodney Street tunnel. A roll of thunder, and heavy rain late in the evening and through the night.
