Lismore and Duart

We left Coll today. When we woke up it was wet and misty but by 10am ( after a hearty breakfast in the cafe at Arinagour- thoroughly recommended) the sun was breaking through and the breeze was clearing the mist.

It made for a lovely sail through the Sound of Mull to Oban. Out of a couple of hundred photos I like the drama of the Lismore lighthouse lit up against the darker background of the hills and the low cloud.

The extra shows Duart Castle and I just like the composition.

It was a lovely drive back with the Highlands and Perthshire looking spectacular.

Home to meet up with the whole family including our grandson who at first did not seem too pleased to be handed to me but soon was giving smiles and drooling!
