In Kingston market place

I needed to go to Kingston for a couple of things and actually stopped and looked at this display properly today. Each block has photos or something on each side and you can actually turn them round or they move a bit in the wind. 

Kingston upon Thames has lots of history including the crowning of some of the first kings of England there. There is good information in both the church and in the Museum. In the museum ( when I last visited) there is a good section about Edward  Muybridge and his contribution to moving photography.

Interesting to see how nice and blue the sky is in this photo…it was not like that earlier in the day. Very chilly 15C and overnight we had over 10mm of rain.
Lots of rain breaks at Wimbledon again!
