Monte Perdido

Posting this late - and yesterday will probably follow tonight or tomorrow!
I can’t believe I’ve done it - 40 years on from when Ian and I came backpacking in the Pyrenees. Main pic is today, extra is comparisons with long ago. It’s the same time of year - blame climate change. And a lot busier now. Plus outdoor gear has progressed! Still I found a super secluded lookout spot on the way down for my Spanish omelette picnic. Nice to hike with a day sack and not have to move on.
