The old days

Started the day very slowly having a good long chat to T before he went off to do some gardening…about their holiday (very laid back not doing much), his work and all his various plans and thoughts. then packed up my stuff and over to the city centre to meet up with DF for lunch and a chat about grandkids, cruises round the western isles, cameras and photography courses. Afterwards I went down to the OU to meet IF for a cup of tea and an interesting chat about the place and his plans post ED role. Good to catch up but so strange to be back there….walking around campus and going into the cafe. The place was a bit of a ghost ship, which is partly what’s behind the plans to probably move to a different site.
Nipped round to K’s to give Otis his birthday present, and met up with A&N there so we all had tea and cake and watched Otis opening our presents (then playing with the paper!)
Drove down to P’s and chatted to him…he was delighted to have won on the premium bonds this month again and we talked about his lottery ticket (he’s decided to play it once a week with one ticket….I’m not holding my breath for a win!)
Down to Mt&H’s ….originally to babysit but they’d decided to just stay in so we had delicious home made pasta and spent the evening chatting with the kids and later them.
