Skimmer
Hubby took our utility trailer in to have its springs replaced. Seems like something is always in need of repair. But, we are blessed to have the things we need to make life a little easier so I am not complaining. I decided to brave the heat and search for a blip right after breakfast. Found a rather nice fungi but remembered I will probably blip them next week while camping. It rained last night and this morning; we have loads of dragonflies darting about. But gosh, they are so hard to photograph with an iPhone. When you get close enough for a clear shot, they take off. And I think they intentionally land on dark surfaces. So this is the best I got until I was drenched from the heat. After my shower, we went shopping to replenish our first aid supplies. My kids are constantly raiding the bin. They helped their father this weekend clean around his property in preparation of selling his home. When they came back to my son’s for lunch and a swim, Kim noticed her father’s arm was a mess. After she gathered my supplies, it was definitely time to get more. Parker had emptied the container of anti-itch products with his poison ivy outbreak. And when they get hurt, it is usually my house that serves as the “hospital.” Hubby is the “medic” though, I get way too queasy. When we got back, I emptied all the camping containers, inventoried everything relating to next week’s menu and wrote a list for needed items. I love having things organized neatly. Makes the trip more pleasant. Renee sent dinner last night when hubby went over to serve as designated driver for some of their party goers. That means tonight’s meal is all ready. Another easy day at this house. Hope the same is true at yours. Update: my youngest daughter just called from the ER. Guess she thought she had another kidney stone. Went to her GP. They took her BP, it is at stroke level! Sent her to the ER. She told me to stay home due to the number of sick people at the hospital. If it is your custom, please say a prayer. Hopefully they can get the BP under control and figure out what is causing that and her other symptoms. More tomorrow. Thanks. Thanks for visiting. Stay safe.
