The weather was set to improve later in the day. Ticked off a few essential tasks this morning and had an early lunch.

Then I drove to Bowness but there were no free (of charge) parking spaces so I went up to Windermere. A moment of inspiration and I headed up Orrest Head rather than wandering around town. Needed to be quick so left the camera and rucksack in the car and whizzed up with just my phone.
