Windy Monday

We did sleep a little later this morning after our very late night watching England vs Spain.  It was cold and very windy, so we did indoor stuff until after lunch when we went out for our walk - well rugged up.  We managed to cover almost 7kms, which I’m very pleased about.

On my way to the supermarket this morning I stopped to take a photo of a row of flowering cherry trees just down the road from us - see the main blip.  As we walked from the Queen’s Reserve down the road towards the Oamaru Public Gardens MrMacD spotted two Kererū (native wood pigeons) sitting quietly in a tree.  I managed to capture them - see the extra.
