Glory

I just have to buy a few sunflowers when i see them in the shop and bring them into the house. They seem to me to signify the height, the glory, of summer. And they always remind me of that special day 12 years ago when the teenager who has just got her GCSE results was a flower girl at her Aunt’s wedding . . . . with sunflowers.
