Experimenting

I feel as though I’m reclaiming the streets of central Edinburgh as the Fringe is in its last day. My journey down to M&S in Princes street this morning was such that I could see the pavement in front of me so thinly scattered were the tourists. M&S was the shop of choice to buy loose vegetables and pick up other  ‘stuff’ for the arrival of my house guest tomorrow.  The resultant stew is bubbling noisily as I write.

Crochet is one thing I did not learn at my mothers knee and has been largely ignored by me in favour of knitting, but my daisy crochet blanket has been such a success that I decided to experiment with some more of the Arne and  Carlos crochet patterns for flowers. Having done that I end up with these 4 flowers and now don’t know what to do with them. I find myself crocheting round them in a square, so may be the square will end up as a cushion cover or maybe it will be stuffed into a drawer never to see the light of day again.
