I Love My Shirt

On the 22nd and 25th August, I blipped about how Mrs C was making me a shirt out of some material we found whilst clearing the loft. Now, here is the finished article - and I’m very chuffed with it. Stylish, fits perfectly and I’ve been able to specify details like buttons and thread to make it more personal. In fact, I’m so pleased with it, that I asked Mrs C to check if there was enough material left to make another one. Specifically, the long sleeved version. The short answer is yes. The longer answer is “yes, but you’ll have to wait until after the holiday before I can even think about starting it”. Maybe something to look forward to wearing on Christmas Day then!
Talking of clearing out the loft, we were thinking of doing a last car boot sale for the year tomorrow. However, the forecast is not brilliant (fine at first, but thunderstorms by late morning) and, frankly, we just don’t have the inclination to get up at 5am. So the plan is to leave everything boxed up in the garage until next year and have another trawl through the loft over winter so we can start next year with even more stuff to sell!!
