Nuts

I’ve been collecting any hazel nuts that I come across on my walks in our wooded area. I will pass them on to the local native tree nursery and hopefully some of them might grow into hazel saplings
The wet and windy weather has returned but strangely I rather enjoy the wind (as long as it’s not strong enough to cause damage). I like the movement of the trees and the sound of the wind as it blows through and around them.
Thank you so much for all the comments, stars and hearts for my blip of the heron which visited our pond on Friday. I can reassure anyone who asked that we don’t have any fish in our pond so the heron didn’t get any reward for its visit.
