Lads Alone

Well Paddy and I.
Mrs S, friend Carolyn and Sam headed off to England Exeter for a Craft Fair and a visit to Ikea which meant Paddy and I had the day to ourselves.
A leisurely breakfast followed by a tidy up and some retail therapy online shopping buying e-books that, with around a half dozen stacked on the table, I don’t really need - but they are books!
We had time to sort out some odds and ends in the garden and shed before we headed off for our walk.

Is there anything better than a flat white with a hand made sausage roll at Castle Beach Cafe looking out over the sea?
Paddy was beside himself, free on the beach for the first time since spring he was overjoyed to be splashing in the rock pools, running on the sand and attempting to eat his body weight in seaweed.
Home for dinner and surprised by Mrs S and Sam arriving around an hour early.
Paddy had all his tribe back, happy pup.
