Walking the walls

A lovely day in York, celebrating MrM's birthday.

We've both been to York many times, to dance or to gigs, but never had time to look around properly. This time we did some touristy stuff - walked all the way around the walls, had a fish & chip lunch at Drake's, went on a boat trip, and wandered around the streets including the famous Shambles. Finally a drink (or two) at York Tap before catching the train back to Huddersfield.
