My first day without visiting Dad. He rang this morning whilst I was out but didn't leave a message. He called again this afternoon to say he is in pain. I told him to take a couple of paracetamol. I go out at 6pm to see my eldest sing with her choir; the carers ring and leave a message asking where the painkillers are. This is beyond a joke now. I want my life back and I WILL have a day off and not feel guilty. I got the day off, I still have the guilt. Doesn't matter, I'm a proud mummy :)
