I was thrilled to see a young goldfinch on the feeder yesterday, proof that the goldfinches had nested close by and were still around.

Rather annoyingly, we have another new species visiting, in the form of  carrion crows (Corvus corone), to add to the Corvid collection of jackdaw (Corvus monedula) and magpie (Pica pica).

They do look rather threatening when sitting on the chimney.
