Crochet bombers strike again!
This morning we popped along to get our legal affairs in order, finally. It's good because we can bring Archie. We drive there, and then JR and Archie walk the whole way home, while I drive back.
In the afternoon, JR walked to Waitrose to get a few things, and to check out their new Japanese food range. She brought back a couple of meals, but I don't think I'd rush to get them again. Her step count today was 17,799 (11.2kms!!). I won't bother mentioning my step count...
As a change from watching 24 hour news, I watched another episode of 'The Reckoning' about Jimmy Savile. JR is not keen to watch any more of it, but I want to see it, having grown up with him, but I always thought he was creepy. It's sickening how he got away with it, even smarming around Margaret Thatcher (who gave him a knighthood) and the Royals.
Archie and I then took a walk up to the graveyard, I haven't been there for a long time. On the way, we passed the pillarbox, with the latest crochet bomb on it. This one depicts the local animal life - a hedgehog, fox, squirrel etc. it's not as good as the other ones, because they're all low lying. They could have been bigger, to fill the space better. But well done, the phantom crocheters!
