Ely cathedral
It has been another busy day, interesting, but exhausting! Three cars arrived this morning to give us lifts to the first tower. We rang one eight bell tower and two six bell towers in the morning in villages around Cambridge. Then we went to the pub for lunch. In the afternoon we rang in Ely. The cathedral itself has no bells, but we had a quick look round after ringing at Saint Mary’s. Gareth, then provided dinner at his house for about 30 of us. We finished the day joining the evening ringing practice at Swaffham Bulbeck. I shall be pleased to find my bed tonight!
