Last Day This Trip

We got up, had breakfast and packed. It is going to rain tomorrow so we want to load the car as much as possible tonight. We washed laundry and tidied up. The crew decided to pick apples since it was so nice outside. We found all kinds of creatures: ground yellow jackets, white faced hornets, caterpillars and thousands of lady bugs. These are a few of the remaining flowers in my sister’s garden. The aggressive hornets and ground bees were in abundance so we quickly moved to another tree when we found them. We spent some time enjoying the rockers and our Kindles. Then we took a ride around the ridges enjoying the beautiful foliage. We saw a huge red tailed hawk but were unable to get a photo. It has been another relaxing and fun visit to the hills of WV. Looking forward to the next one. Wishing you special moments this Fall/Spring season depending on your location. Stay safe.
