After Dark

It rained heavily and persistently all night. It felt comforting to lie in bed and listen to the rain but the dark skies and low light made it an effort to get out of bed this morning. Any how as the day progressed the skies lightened and dried up, and the day felt a whole lot better.

The mystery village knitter has again been busy providing us with Halloween decorations. These bats and pumpkins were loitering in the village as I walked in the dark after dinner this evening.
