Oh, Christmas Tree..

Hubby finished putting up our window candles and Christmas wreaths. I ambled out of bed in time to shower, eat breakfast and visit my asthma doc for my routine appointment. My numbers have remained steady so no need to go back for six months. He suggested working to curb the reflux but I love my coffee, doubt that will happen. Hubby picked up our printed Christmas letter. We finally realized the cost of our printer ink is no less than professional printing costs and the quality is better. He took our recycling to the convenience center while I searched for a blip and bought gift cards at various places for his stocking and my grands’ current significant others. This is the Christmas tree in our county government seat. They draw thousands to the tree lighting and entertainment on the town square. Skylar has entertained the crowd as The Grinch with her dance troupe in previous years. We finished our cards and dropped them off at the post office on the way to get Chase from the bus stop. He should have his license soon and be able to drive himself. We went to the local library to check out Mancil’s second photography exhibit. I added an extra with a few of his photos. So proud of him. The display runs for several weeks and includes three photographers. Kim had a medical procedure today. Her hubby said it went well and she is in recovery. Her family has been stressed this week for sure. Dinner is made so the evening should be calm. Hope yours is as well. Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. Will get to more journals tonight. If only I could stay awake until I read them all.. “The lights. The ornaments. The aroma. Is there anything better than a Christmas tree?”- lovetoknow.com
