Halifax

This has been a tradition for many families in Halifax for years. Two brothers, both doctors, live a couple of houses away from each other on the same street. It started as a competition between them, to see who could have the most decorations. The other houses on the street have their share of decorations too but when you have  a couple of hundred people touring the neighborhood every night for 3 weeks, it's easier to have decorations. This house has a Santa in the upstairs window and he waves to everyone. The other house has a Charlie Brown theme and they play 'A Charlie Brown Christmas' on a huge outdoor screen. The extras show some of the Charlie Brown decorations.

I may be forced to do some house cleaning over the next few days out of boredom. Rain and wind in the forecast for Monday into Tuesday and more rain and wind for Tuesday night into Wednesday. They have rain, wind and a storm surge warning in effect.
