Christmas Eve

There will be ten of us in the house for lunch tomorrow, so we all spent a lot of today getting things ready, although the Minx did the lion's share of the work in the kitchen, even finding time to make individual cheesecakes. By late afternoon, we were all set, though. 

Just after four o'clock I wandered down into Kirkby with Dan for a quick pint at The King's Arms before he and Abi went to meet their mum for a drink in Hornby. 

They came back around sevenish, Dan going straight out to meet his friends, and Abi joining me, the Minx, and miniMinx for a Chinese takeaway.
