Ready...

I had a lot to do, today, to get the house ready for tomorrow, when there will be ten of us here for Christmas lunch. There was tidying to be done (of course), as well as bedding to be washed and dried, and beds to be made up. Plus, inevitably, last bits of food shopping.

Thank heavens, then, for the Minx, who made an excellent job of tidying the dining room, whilst I rendered the rest of the house shipshape (or thereabouts).

Abi is at her mum's tonight, but Dan went over for Christmas Eve drinks at The Royal Oak with them, before I picked him up. After a stunning performance with respect to last night's chilli - twelve tacos - he returned home to trough three large fajitas, this evening. He's evidently feeling the need of good food!
