Wet

The main is a close up of the window. The extras are the view from the same window and the waterproof socks I'd put on my Christmas list and was lucky enough to receive.  They came into their own this morning. What a horrible wet walk. There is a tiny bit of snow on the hilltops but here it's just heavy rain, pelting hail and a strong wind. Fortunately I have waterproof garb, as does Flora, but we were both soaked when we returned home. Well, apart from my feet. The waterproof socks work! 

Cameraman has volunteered to take our grandson to the under 5s panto at the University today. Now that Flora has had a walk I feel the pull of the sofa, the kettle and a box of chocolates.
